VIVA! MADIBA

“I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended.”
Nelson Mandela
“If I had my time over I would do the same again, so would any man who dares call himself a man.”  - Nelson Mandela
(After being convicted to five years hard labor, November 1962)

The greatest African Leader that ever lived.
I would be saddened to think for a second that the legacy of true african leadership has ended with you.

Babekhala bathi balahlekelwe [They cried and said they have lost someone],
Boba yintoni na ngaphandle kwakhe yini [what will they be without him],
Hayi incubeko engako engakuthi [so much luck that’s on our side]
Viva ndiyakwethembisa soze sijike [I promise you i won't change]

wasifundisa uthando [You taught us Love]
wasifundisa umhlaba [You taught us the world]
wasifundisa ukuhleka[you taught us laughter]
wasifundisa ukuvana thina [You us to get along]
wasifundisa inyani [you taught us the truth]
wathi nyamezelani [you said we must hold on]
wasifundisa uthando, [You taught us Love]
uthando lomculo Viva [The Love of music, Viva]

Viva! you are a legend.
