LETS TALK ABOUT .... LEADERSHIP

“Any woman who is sure of her own wits, is a match, at any time, for a man who is not sure of his own temper.” Wilkie Collins, The Woman in White

Hello Monday!

We have seen the latest jokes doing rounds on Twitter & Facebook. For those living in Nairobi.. Friday Night News was a buzz.
Our Governor happened to hit Our Women's Representative! At about the same time,
Our Senator, threw harsh insults at a local Radio Presenter on her morning show.
What is happening with Leadership these days??
What happened to the days of Accountability for our actions and words spoken?
It is a disgrace for a whole GOVERNOR to raise his hand on a woman, regardless of how much he felt provoked, i figured slamming the door on her face would have been most appropriate! But to RAISE your hand and hit her? --- c'mooon GOVERNOR *insert heavy british accent*
Twitter was a buzz with all sorts of Jokes... I admit, to have laughed at a few that i thought were really creative and funny *hides face*
Looking back it is NO laughing matter! Governor lost his cool, while the entire nation looked on in shame or anger or disapproval.
Some argue that the Women's Rep. was put in her place. some still argue that it was about time someone put her in her place, and Governor did it just right?! SMDH!
Where does this barbaric-archaic-thinking still survive in this century? Lord help us!
One moment of losing your cool could cost you  your career!! *think about this for a minute Governor*
I have TWO words for you Governor ... SELF CONTROL!!
: restraint exercised over one's own impulses, emotions, or desires

ION...

Kenyan meets HollyWood!!
Lupita Ny'ong'o looking RADIANT on the Red Carpet. I cannot wait to see her in the movie  "12 Years A Slave" - The reviews are great so far. Congratulations to her! Oscars are beckoning :))
