“I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

"October's Party"

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came-
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.

Dear October...

I have been waiting a long time for you :)
You remind me that am much closer to my favorite time of year!
September, you were good to me.
The downside was the great tragedy that befell our nation. Kenya is holding on.
Some truths have come out of that tragedy and it is my sure hope our government will work on those loopholes in the systems of governance. We take it as a Wake-up Call of some sort.

A reminder that we are vulnerable.
Am looking forward to Nairobi Fashion Week..and 7 days of Rest&Relaxation.
Loads of Sunny Days and a Photo-shoot :))
A few special birthdays to celebrate..
A get together to celebrate a baby..

Big breaks for Family & Self.

Quotes For The Month:

“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can't practice any other virtue consistently.”  Maya Angelou

“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.” Maya Angelou
