{ FOR SALE BY OWNER

The worst thing one can do is not to try, to be aware of what one wants and not give into it, to spend years in silent hurt wondering if something could have materialized - never knowing."  Jim Rohn

I woke up this morning, wanting to package up all my ideas nicely and start up an 'ideas for sale' shelf at the supermarket!
See, I am a bordering perfectionist!
It all has to be PERFECT! Otherwise, NOTHING gets out there.
It's a never ending cycle..
PERFECTIONISM breeds PROCRASTINATION, which breeds DISAPPOINTMENTS, which breed REGRET, which breeds...well, beating-myself-up-for-not-doing-what-I-was-to-do-when-I-shoulda-done-it-when-I-was-supposta-do-it-now-time-has-gone-by-how-could-I-ever-live-with-myself...blah blah blah...blah!
that's pretty much it. A long rough terrain of guilt tripping my damn self!!

Notes To Self :)

  2. I know how you feel. But take it from me, it's best to start (with one) and refine as you go along.
Aim for excellence rather than 'perfection'. That way, you know that what you've started is your best, with what you have at the time. Better no? Rather than hiding fear under the guise of 'perfection'. Take heart and arise. Be a good steward of the gifts, talents, ideas that God has so lovingly given you. All the best.
