 Happy Monday!

I am a huge fan of Humans Of Newyork and so is the whole world.
Every time i log on to the page and read all the amazing stories, tears steam down my face, Honestly it's like an onion effect,
I am particularly loving the series on the Syrian refugees, It's such an eye opener.
I am reminded of just how blessed i am and how much God has spared me.

This morning i am grateful:

1. For the peace i enjoy in my country
2. My family is intact. healthy and alive
3. I can hear and recognise the voice of God
4. I can pray in holyspirit tongues
5. For my Man of God
6. For my job and my business
7. For  laughter and happy times as well as challenges and tough times
8. He who has promised is faithful to accomplish.

There is so much to be thankful for.. this is my particular right now.

There has been something about the month of November.
One constant lesson has been re-playing OVER & OVER & OVER.

Just because you do not see it does not mean IT HAS NOT HAPPENED !!

I have come to learn there is something i now call BLINDFOLD SURPRISES.
Well, this in my new understanding is when things happen even when you cannot see it.
Some things do not necessarily manifest 100% on the spot. Its a process that is supposed to strengthen our faith and not dampen it contrary to popular belief.

A few years ago, i read an incredible story of a visually impaired man who could tell color by touch.
Yes! Just by touching anything of color he knew if it was blue or yellow or white.
I have seen things of color all my life and even with the lights off i cannot tell what color a thing is.

I have experienced a lot of blind surprises lately. Honestly, walking in faith takes a whole lotta FAITH & TRUST. Being a very logical person does interfere with Faith and Trust alot. *work in progress*

Believing when you cannot see stretches my faith muscles so hard i can see six pack forming. lolThe Bible requires of us to walk by faith because what we see is so limiting. God can do above and beyond what we can ask for or imagine. Faith begins where when we cannot see or touch or ask for or think of. It begins wher the natural meets the supernatural.
When Christ on the cross declared it was finished in the natural he was hanging on a cross lifeless. some were depressed because they thought he is gone.. it's over! Lets mourn him. The natural was so limiting.

The phrase it is finished was above and beyond what we could imagine. He had accomplished God's purpose. He had defeated the devil, death, poverty, sickness and all sorts of  earthly viles.

I do not know how far your faith and trust levels have been stretched?? But just because you cannot see does not mean it has not happened. Keep the faith. Keep trusting.

I have the strangest dejavu feeling about this. That feeling like I have done this before in the future-present.
It has been three blessed years sharing our little corner office.
All the laughter and the smiles.. the advice and the castigations combined... Spiritual and emotional support all packaged in one, behind three walls. *I just noticed our little office has three walls*
I must admit you always made the office lively. Your infectious laughter will be a sure sign of your presence missed.
I am happy that you are moving on, one beginning is always made of another beginning's end.
I know beyond doubt that your future is as sure as the sunrise.
Good things are coming your way. It is well with you.
I wish you great experiences to write home about.
May challenges only seem like doors to push you forward.
You have taught me that tough times do not last, but happy people do.

My Blog turned two four days ago.
This came as a surprise to me, i was SURE i had began this journey one year ago.
I sure hope i do not turnout to be the mother who forgets how old her children are? *laughs*

How time goes by so fast when you are having fun?!

Two years back, i did it. I threw myself... lol.

I never imagined i would have so much to say or talk about.
Change has been the only constant.
Finding yourself in your writing is much similar to finding yourself in real life.
So, much so that you go through phases of insecurity.
Do the words flow? Am i making much sense? Will the reader like me? Like my work? Am penning my heart out for crying out loud! They better like it!!

It's funny how sometimes you are tapping wildly on the keyboard trying so hard to impress people you hardly even know. People who count without even knowing it?!

As i look back on this two year journey,

I have traveled much through words,
I have changed much through words,
I have shared myself through words,
I have learned to walk a mile in my own words,
I am so glad i threw myself .....
I am above and beyond greatful to everyone who has taken time to visit my blog.

It honestly feels like the  month of June just dropped by to say hello and off it went.
These days are going by so fast.

Lets Talk About .... Sunday Service

Have you ever been in church, and the pastor is going on & on about the word... BUT it sure feels like he is addressing you??? ONLY you?
Sunday Service was AMAZING ... Pastor was great, you could feel the spirit flow through his words.
And it sure felt like he was addressing me... ONLY ME at some point. Even the scriptures agreed with him, because what was read was talking to me!
In my mind i went like ... Oooooh LORD, i knew i had done wrong, but DAMMMMN! I was that bad?!
I started sweating... heart palpitating.. am like.. LORD, AM SORRY! I GET IT JESUS.. I GET IT! Make him stop.Pastor's words cut through me like a sharp edged sword.
I was almost embarrassed to look sideways just in-case somebody noticed, that i noticed, that it was me being addressed. lol.
I learnt lessons on Patience, Regrets, Confused Mind-set, Stubbornness, Doubt&Unbelief .
Sunday Service was indeed a blessing...
I am counting the Blessing of Church, The Man Of God (Pastor) & The every convicting, soul saving word.

 Am famished! Off to Lunch :))

HEALTH IS WEALTH...

Health is Wealth INDEED!

There is nothing more precious than Health in this world!
Being down with illness is NOT the best experience anyone could have. You are basically tied down, you feel like  slave in your own body.
You cannot do the things you would 'normally' do. You begin to appreciate the little things that just make life meaningful e.g. getting out of bed!

Today, i am counting the blessing of HEALTH! here...here..!

The fact that i am out of bed, in the office working.. doing the things that i would deem 'normal' without a tinge or twinge of body ache = an AMEN to that!! :)

You never know the importance of staying healthy until you are NOT! 

I raise my cup of TEA  ... yes i said it my fellow Kenyans.. TEA with MILK .. lol!
We all know the woes of the mwanainchi have been raised a notch higher with the slapping of VAT on all essential commodities including milk, bread, ugali flour etc etc..

But, we are a nation of FEARLESS... we will not be shaken :))

Just Because I Never Start The Conversation,
Doesn't Mean Am Not 'Dying' To Talk To You..

I am the ULTIMATE listener!! :) but not much of a talker, sadly.

I love to listen to peoples stories. It always has a way of awakening something deep inside of me.

My ultimate conversationalist AKA talker is None other than Maria 'Ticho'. *yes! Maria*
Witty..Funny..Never short of stories to tell.. She loves to talk, i love to listen.
We automatically gravitate towards that.
Coffee Date #2 with Maria yesterday evening was as breathtaking as it always is.
Story after story.. line after line.. laughter..cake..coffee.. and more conversation.
The downside about ultimate listeners, we remember way too much.
It's almost like our brains are storage buffers o' something like that. Sometimes i wish i could format my brain and just keep what is current. lol.
Amazing conversations always have me smiling to myself, even hours after.
I go through the interesting parts over and over in my mind, just to wrap the feeling around it.
It is my own little walk in conversational shoes. *sigh* :)))
What gets me most are the gestures..Maria gestures a lot!! probably this animated scenario is what makes conversations so lively and funny at the same time.
She tries to describe everything in detail with a gesture,lol!
There's definitely never a dull moment.
I am counting the blessing of CONVERSATION! Every ... interesting, funny, gestured, witty, intellectual,wild, personal, business-like, child-like, hearty conversations.
